Backgammon
This Backgammon tool supplies dice for a game played on your own board. Keep the physical position in front of both players and use one shared screen for the roll, so everyone reads the same pair of values.
The Rules guide covers movement and the main stages of play; Tips focuses on decisions such as leaving exposed checkers. Cubiri’s dice tool does not inspect your board or validate a move. Players still need to agree on legal moves and resolve the position on their board.
Set up your physical board before using the dice companion. Decide which direction each player moves and identify the two home boards. A new player benefits from naming each die separately and pointing to the intermediate landing before moving a checker. This keeps the digital roll and the legal moves on the board easy for both players to follow.
The dice tool does not decide checker movement, bar entry or bearing off for you. When a position is unclear, pause and use the Rules guide rather than rerolling to avoid the question. Tips explains how changing the order of two numbers can change what is legal. For a teaching game, compare two possible positions together before choosing the move; do not assume the largest forward jump is automatically best.
